Graveside services for Earl Ray Brassfield were held 2:00PM, Tuesday, Oct 21, 2014 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis with Brother Ron Austin officiating.

Earl was born Aug 22, 1942 in Wynnewood to the late Alex Fay & Beulah Mae (Cunningtubby) Brassfield. He died Friday, Oct 17, 2014 in Davis, at the age of 72 years 1 month and 25 days. Earl and Rosemary Logan were married on May 5, 1980 in Gainesville, TX.

After graduating from Davis High School in 1960, Earl served the US Air Force and from Nov, 1963 until he was honorably discharged in Mar, 1976. Much of his working career was spent as a driller in the oilfield. He also worked as a carpenter, building several homes in the Davis area. Earl enjoyed picking at and aggravating people and fishing. He loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; three daughters, Rebecca Barnett & husband Chris of Sulphur, Anita Brassfield of Hennepin and Kelly Hudson & husband Robert of Moore; three sons, Alex Brassfield & wife Kelli of Hennepin, Jason Richardson & wife Kristine of Norman and Cody Brassfield & wife Jamie of Davis; nine grandchildren; as well as, one brother, Jerry Brassfield of Pauls Valley; and three sisters, Flora Kirk & husband Ernest of Pauls Valley, Patsy Brassfield of Houston, TX and Linda McGahee of Morrison, OK.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Karen Meador.
