Funeral services for Dylan Hunter Johnson Burch will be held 2:00PM Friday, July 25, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Davis with Pastor Brian Hetherington officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.
Dylan was born April 2, 1996 in Norman, OK. He died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Oklahoma City, after an eight year battle with cancer. Dylan was 18 year 3months and 21 days old.
Dylan moved to the Davis/Sulphur area at the age of six. He attended 1st thru the 3rd grade at Sulphur and 4th thru his Junior year at Davis. He was awaiting the start of his Senior year Davis in just a few short weeks. While in school, Dylan was very active showing pigs in both 4-H and FFA. The highlight of Dylan’s short life was winning Grand Champion Barrow at the spring 2014 Murray County Junior Livestock Show.
Dylan was a very polite and kindhearted young man, who offered the upmost respect to adults. He was the type of individual that would do anything for anyone he could. Dylan enjoyed fishing, diesel mechanics and playing video games, when he wasn’t spray painting his recent “oops” on his pickup. He enjoyed tinkering and working with his hands. Dylan will forever be remembered as a true fighter. Some may think he lost his battle with cancer; but Dylan Burch won the ultimate heeling over cancer.
Survivors include his mom & dad, Jimmy & Shelly Burch; one sister, Shelby Burch; three brothers, Austin Burch & Madison, Cody Burch & wife Brooke and Justin Burch & wife Amber, all of Davis; grandmother, Sandy Johnson of Wynnewood; nieces & nephews, Bintlee, Blaze, Karsyn and Blakely; uncle, C.R. Johnson as well as several cousins.
Dylan was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Renee Johnson; maternal grandfather, Charlie Johnson; maternal great-grandparents, Marvin & Lou Currie; and aunt, Shana Burch.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody, Austin & Justin Burch and C.R. Johnson
