Services for Donnie Ray Miller will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Sulphur, with Pastor Dick Terry officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.

Donnie was born November 8, 1950, in Sulphur, OK, to the late Cecil & Adeen (Nunley) Miller. He died on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Sulphur, at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 19 days. He and the former Ms. Ilean Harrison were married on February 9, 1970, in Sulphur. From this marriage was born two daughters, Tracie, and Teresa.

Donnie grew up in Mill Creek. He joined the United States Army on May 7,1970 and was honorably discharged on January 8, 1972. Returning home from the Army, Donnie began working for US Silica in Mill Creek, and later went to work for Unimin at Roff. Prior to retiring in 2013, Donnie worked as a carpenter for Kemper Valve. In his spare time, he enjoyed carpentering and tinkering in his shop. He was an avid fisherman and loved hosting fish fries with his beloved family.

Survivors include his wife Ilean; two daughters, Tracie Pettifer & husband Richie, and Teresa Sanford & husband Brad, all of Sulphur; seven grandchildren, Justin Pettifer, Preston Mann, Zakkary Mann, Carson Pettifer, Braxtyn Sanford, Blakeley Sanford, and Brylie Sanford; as well as two sisters, Linda Williams, and Mary Gallup; and two brothers, Allen Miller, and Charlie Miller.

In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by four siblings, Johnny Miller, Bootsie Miller, Janis Walker, and Jimmy Miller.
