Dennis Ray Cox

Services for Dennis Ray Cox will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April10, 2019 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur with Pastor Mike Johnston officiating.

Dennis was born December 24, 1951 in Martha, OK to Leon and Florence (Buckner) Cox. He passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at the age of 67 years, at his home near Sulphur. Dennis and the former Ms. Floy Stewart were married in 1970. From their marriage was born two sons, Kevin and Danny.

Dennis enlisted in the United State Army in October 1970 and was honorably discharged in December 1970, due to medical issues. He spent his working career as a professional truck driver. In younger years, Dennis enjoyed fishing and boating.

Survivors include his two sons, Kevin Cox & Donna Anhalt and Danny Cox & wife LeAndra, both of Sulphur; four grandchildren, Dakota Cox, Kaden Cox, Ethan Cox and Olivia Cox, all of Sulphur; four siblings, Arvin Cox & wife Phyllis, Vickie Slawson, Judy Williams and Bill Cox; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Florence Cox.
