Debora Ann “Debi” Freeman



Debi was born Feb 20, 1967 in McPherson, KS to William H. & Jennifer Jo (Blackburn) Moon. She died Wednesday, Dec 10, 2014 in Sulphur, at the age of 47 years 9 months 20 days. Debi and Eric LeRoy Freeman were married on Apr 26, 1987 in Sulphur.

Debi grew up in McPherson where she attended school through the seventh grade. She and her family moved to Sulphur in 1980, where she attended school, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1985. Debi spent her married life as a stay at home mother, caring for her children. Her family and her friends were her life.

Survivors include her husband Eric; two daughters, Mariah Nicole & Jessica Jo Freeman; one son, Jake Freeman; mother, Jenny Moon, all of Sulphur; one grandson, Max Chong; sister, Shawna O’Dell of Dallas; one brother, Billy Joe Moon & wife Sonya of McPherson, KS; as well as two nieces, Alicia & Savannah Moon and two nephews, Dustin & Travis O’Dell.

Debi was preceded in death by her father, Bill Moon; daughter, Erica; and granddaughter, Jazlynn.
