Services for Debbie Lynn (Swisher) Gerzmehle will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, Mar 15, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Davis with Chaplain Tim Jones officiating.

Debbie was born on Oct 17, 1971 in Stillwater, OK. She died Friday, Mar 9, 2012 in Davis, after a lengthy & courageous battle with cancer. Debbie was 40 years 4 months and 22 days old. She and Douglas Dean Gerzmehle were married on May 5, 2009 in Pauls Valley, OK.

Debbie was a 1990 graduate of Davis High School. She attended Murray State College in Tishomingo. Before her failing health prevented her, Debbie worked as a professional chef at several eateries, including the Bread Basket in Davis. In her spare time, her hobbies included fishing, reading and tending horses. She loved spending time with her family and friend every chance she had. Debbie had a great love and devotion for her Savior & Lord, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Doug; brother, Jasper Brace & his wife Stacey; step-father, Larry Brace & wife Darlene; father & mother-in-law, Steven & Margaret Clark; brother-in-laws, Jason & Steven Clark; as well as, several nieces & nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Janice Brace in Oct 1989; as well as her paternal & maternal grandparents.
