Funeral services for Daniel Dale Lambert will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the Crossway First Baptist Church in Sulphur, with Pastor Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery, in Sulphur, OK.
Daniel was born March 10, 1969, in Carlsbad, NM to the late Daniel Ray and Carlyn Jean (Hendrickson) Lambert. He passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, in Pauls Valley, OK, at the age 52 years, 6 months and 14 days. Daniel and the former Ms. JoAnn “Jodie” Wells were united in marriage on July 24, 1999, in Carlsbad.
Born and raised in Carlsbad, Daniel was a member of the Carlsbad High School, Class of 1987. While in high school, he was very active in Cavemen Football and Powerlifting. He spent his working career in construction and Potash mining.
Daniel was known as “Mr. Fix It.” He had a gift that allowed him to build and/or fix anything. He had a heart for animals, whether it be a pet or something from the wild. He loved being outdoors and always kept a beautiful yard and home.
Of all things in life, Daniel most cherished his relationship with his beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Next to Christ, his family was most important to him. His steadfast love and devotion to God and his family was unwavering.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jodie of Pauls Valley; son, Robbie Wells & wife Aimee of Sulphur; two daughters, Brandi Weise of Okmulgee, OK and Carrie Riley & husband Jesse of Sulphur; seventeen grandchildren, Abigail Wells, Alexander Wells, Duncan Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell, Madison Mitchell, Sonny Wells, Jace Allen, Stormy Wells, Solon Wells, Hailey Weise, Gavin Dale Weise, Guner Weise, Kingston Weise, Dandie Weise, Kaylea Fick, Caleb Riley and Noah Daniel Riley; four great-grandchildren, Milani Matta, Liam Fick, Lane Fick and Berkley Riley; mother-in-law, Martha Sanders; three sisters, Karlena Beeson & husband Roy, Darla Creed & husband Jerry, and Danette Tanner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
