Cordelia Mae Crockett

Cordelia Mae Crockett was born August 9, 1937, in Oklahoma City, OK, to the late George & Edith (Sapp) Crockett. She died on Friday, October 4, 2024, in Sulphur, at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 25 days.

Throughout her life, Cordelia made her home in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and California, as well as resided in Spain for a short time. She spent many years working for the United States Postal Service prior to her retirement. As a beloved mother and grandmother, Cordelia enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, working puzzles and reading.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Sanchez, and Diana Blake; five grandchildren, Kevin Blake, Lance Wetsel, Matthew Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, and Crystal Smith; as well as three great-grandchildren, Alaric Smith, Sebastian Sanchez, and Scarlett Sanchez

Others preceding Cordelia in death include husbands, Milton E. Perry in 1986 and Willis Jackson in 1998; two sons, Danny Perry, and David Perry; as well as her four siblings, Frances Helen Pearl (Crockett) Holbird, Kenneth George Crockett, Joy Yvonne (Crockett) Wade, and Delores Gail Crockett.

Cremation was entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home, of Sulphur.
