Brenda Kay Anderson

Brenda Kay Anderson, a resident of Wynnewood, was born December 17, 1958, in Lindsay, OK. She died on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Dallas, TX, at the age of 64 years and 2 days. Brenda and Charles Ken Anderson were married on March 26, 1989, in Davis. This union was blessed with two children, Lea Marie and Jacob Ken.

Brenda grew up in the Lindsay/Chickasha area. After graduating from Lindsay High School, Class of 1977, she continued her education at East Central University in Ada. Once married, she and Ken made their home in Guthrie where she spent several years working as legal secretary for numerous public defenders. In the late 90s she and Ken moved from Guthrie to Wynnewood, where she spent 15+ years working as a teacher’s aide and a Paraprofessional at the Wynnewood High School. Brenda had a deep desire for educating kids. She loved each of her students as if they were her own, and formed strong bonds with them, maintaining contact with them even after graduating.

Brenda was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, Stella and Jasper. She loved weekend getaways with her husband. Always the animal lover, she cherished her two cats, Banjo and Gladys and her dogs Eli and Bella.

Survivors include her husband Ken, of Wynnewood; daughter, Lea Marie Teves & husband Cody of Wynnewood; son, Jacob Ken Anderson & fiancé Erin Crouch of Ada; two grandchildren, Stella Marie and William Jasper Teves; one sister, Carla Kerrigan of Omaha, NE; and three brothers, Stanley Webb of Wynnewood, Michael Webb of Elmore City, and Eddie Humphries of Oklahoma City.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Jo (McGee) Humphries; father, Aberry Webb, maternal grandparents, Roy & Marie McGee; and two nephews, Justin Nightengale and J.R. Pickett.
