Bobbie W. White was born July 24, 1919 in Ridge, Montana to Tom and Zetie Cleo (Moore) Denson. She passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years 11 months and 2 days.
Bobbie met Charley Euell “C.E.” White while he was delivering milk to the family home. Their transportation on their first date was the milk delivery truck. They were married on April 3, 1940 in Norman, Oklahoma. In 1943, she and C.E. moved to West Texas where they farmed and C.E. hauled canned milk until moving from Hereford, Texas to Sulphur, Oklahoma in 1953. They farmed and operated the C. E. Trucking Company hauling milk from1954 to 1970.
She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, gardening and working at Crossway First Baptist Church in which she has been a member since moving to Sulphur in 1953.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, C.E.; parents; brother, T.I. Denson; and sisters, Mazzie Whitt, Bea Chandler, Audie Hayes and Oleta White.
She is survived by son, Charles White and wife, Reba, of Sulphur; daughter, Linda Woodfin and husband, David, of Norman; brothers, Max Denson of California and Rex Denson of Florida; sister, Monte Winn of Lindsey, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Clay White, Chad White, Paul Woodfin, Michael Woodfin and Pam McGee; and great grandchildren: Trey Woodfin, Jordan Woodfin, Dawson McGee, Maddy McGee, Hudson McGee, Emmy McGee, Jerad White, Ryan Edmoundson, Morgan White and Dylan White.
Serving as pallbearers were: Michael Woodfin, Paul Woodfin, Clay White, Chad White, Jerad White, Mike White and Ryan Edmoundson.
