Bill Roper

Bill was born Aug 22, 1921 in the Sunshine Community, north east of Davis, to the late William Lon & Verda Mae (Duncan) Roper. He died Monday, Dec 21, 2015 in Sulphur, at the age of 94 years 3 months & 29 days. Bill and the late Reba (Sanders) Roper were married on Aug 8, 1942, in Wynnewood. She preceded him in death on Feb 17, 2011.

Survivors include his two daughters, Billee Moore & husband Randy and Vickie Coppenbarger & husband Buster all of Davis; four grandchildren, Mandee McKinney and husband Hank of Mead, OK, Taylor Moore & wife Shellie, Dr. Cade Coppenbarger & wife Jodi, and Heidi Wright & husband Jason all of Davis; seven great-grandchildren, Aaron and Chloe McKinney of Mead, Gavin Moore, Gage and Paige Coppenbarger and Jaxon & Jameson Wright all of Davis; one brother Truman Roper of Grants Pass, Oregon.

Others preceding him in death include two sisters, Loma Gilbert & Mary Roper; as well as two brothers, Herbert & James Roper.
