Betty Louise (Woodell) Bolding

Funeral services for Betty Louise (Woodell) Bolding were held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Feb 26, 2013 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur, with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Betty was born on Aug 15, 1948 in Clarita, OK to James Leonard & Mary Elizabeth (Lee) Woodell. She died Friday, Feb, 22, 2013 in Sulphur, at the age of 64 years 6 months and 7 days.
Betty grew up in Sulphur, where she attended school. Throughout her working career she owned and operated the Sandy Creek Diner in Sulphur several years; worked as cook at the Sulphur Veteran’s Center; worked as a Direct Care Specialist at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman and later worked in the canteen at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center in Pauls Valley. After retiring in 2002, Betty spent much of her time being with family, traveling and bird-watching.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Bolding & wife Maelee and Robert Bolding & wife Tiffany, both of Davis; four grandchildren, Marshall, Kavan, Brock and Emily Bolding, all of Davis; one sister, Sandy Fisher of Norman; as well as two nieces, Dana Moore and Stefanie Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Jamie Lynn Fisher.
Serving as pallbearers were Tony Woodell, Rod Woodell, Mark Woodell, Keith Claxton, Clint Grinstead and Roger Cunningham.
