Bernadette Rita Gallegos

Bernadette "Rita" Gallegos, a devoted homemaker and cherished member of her family, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. Born on July 31, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rita was the daughter of Jose Abe Valdez and Priscilla Maria (Trujillo) Valdez, both of whom have preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Edward; two sons, Adam Gonzales & wife Tiffany of Sulphur, and Russell Gonzales & wife Ashley of Tulsa; three grandchildren, Evan and Sarah Gonzales and Shelby DeHart; one sister, Elaine Solano; four brothers, Alfred, Louie, Edward and Benji Valdes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, preceding Rita in death was one brother, Gabriel Valdez and one nephew, Eric Solano.

Rita Gallegos will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Cremation services were "entrusted" to Hale's Funeral Home of Sulphur.
