Barbara Jean Hill

Barbara Jean Hill was born June 1, 1935, in Oklahoma City, to the late Emanuel & Ida Leota (Moss) Hill. She died on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Davis, at the age of 89.

Barbara grew up in Oklahoma City. Later in life, she attended cosmetology school, which led her to work as an instructor at Pauls Valley Beauty College for several years. Barbara was a faithful member of the Arbuckle View Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching television.

Barbara will be remembered as a devoted mother, always doing her best to provide for her sons. "Rest in peace Mom"

Survivors include two sons, Rickey Southard & wife Christine of Davis, and David Southard of Sulphur; and one step-grandson, Randy Jordan of Davis.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by the father of her two sons, Jerry B. Southard.

Cremation was "Entrusted To" HALE'S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
