Annie Pearl Thompson

Graveside funeral services for Annie Pearl Thompson will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, TX, with the Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.

Annie was born February 13, 1939 in Oakland, Tennessee to the late R.D. & Minnie (Miller) Jones. She died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Sulphur, OK, at the age of 78 years 8 months & 25 days. Annie and James Harvey Thompson were married on May 9, 1957. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Annie was a partner in the Vernon Dr. Pepper Bottling & Distribution Company in Vernon, TX. She was a very sweet caring lady with a streak of orneriness. Her quick wit made her able to hold her own with the best. Annie enjoyed embroidering, sewing, travelling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Cox & husband Gary of Sulphur, OK and Tommie Lockwood & husband James of Altus; three sons, James Thompson, JR. & wife Carla of Vernon, TX, Danny Thompson of Amarillo, TX and David Thompson of Gatesville, TX; as well as 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
