Anna Mae Gracey Rackley


Anna was born on Mar 7, 1912 in Coalgate, OK to the late Noah Timothy & Tempey Janetta (Singleton) Awbrey. She died Monday, Dec 30, 2013 in Oklahoma City at the age of 101 years 9 months and 23 days.

Anna grew up in the Sulphur area. She loved caring for children. In her spare time she enjoyed oil painting and quilting. Anna was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Billy Gracey & wife Peggy of Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Gracy of Moore; brother, Marion Awbrey & wife Barbara of Yukon; two sisters Mable Leming of Sulphur and Wilma Over of Oklahoma City; as well as nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Kay Davis; son, Bobby Gene Gracy; grandson, Matt Gracy; two sisters, Thelma Weese & Ruth Shaw; three brothers, Virgil, Jeff and Charles Awbrey; as well as husbands, Robert Duncan Gracey, Wayne Gist & Floyd Rackley.
