Minnie Ann “Ann” Kimbro


Ann was born Nov 18, 1945 in Lone Grove, OK to the late Velter C. & Nancy Jane (Pierce) Keith. She died Sunday, Sept 4, 2016 in Davis, at the age of 70 years, 9 months & 16 days. Ann and Wesley Jack Kimbro were married on June 12, 1964 in Ardmore.
Ann, growing up in the Lone Grove/Plainview area, was a 1964 graduate of Plainview High School. She spent several years working as a beautician prior to working as a bookkeeper for the Lanic Mills Co and Wiley Manufacturing, both of Oklahoma City. Later she kept books for Masters Oil of Davis. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed camping, playing cards with her family and doing wood-work. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sulphur.
Survivors include her husband Wes; two sons, David Kimbro and wife Melanie and Brian Kimbro & wife Kimberly, all of Davis; four grandchildren, Cami, Tynden, Rainey & Bailey Kimbro, all of Davis; four sisters, Barbara Anderson & husband Gerald, Sharon Cornelison & husband Dale, Marilyn Welch and Carilyn Brintle & husband Randy; five brothers, Bud Keith & wife Linda, Gary Keith & wife Sharon, Steve Keith & wife Sandra, Tony Keith & wife Leslie and Clint Keith & wife Lisa; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Ditto & Janice Cottrell; and one brother, Arlen Pierce.
Serving as pallbearers were Tynden Kimbro, Junior Kimbro, Jody Cornelison, Steve Cottrell, Kenneth Keith and Coy Priddy.
