Funeral services for Alisha Louise (Thompson) Hunt will be held 2:00PM, Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Oaklawn Cemetery, in Sulphur, with Larry Seeley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.
Alisha, a true daddy’s girl, was born December 9, 1959, in Sulphur, to the late Jimmy Doyle “Bones” and Tommie Sue (Finch) Thompson. She died Sunday, December 4, 2022, in Sulphur, five days shy of 63 years old.
Alisha grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School, Class of 1978. She attended cosmetology school in Ardmore and spent several years working in that industry. She later spent 14 years working as an independent carrier for the Daily Ardmoreite. In addition to cosmetology and the newspaper route, she also spent several years working for First Cousins flower shop in Sulphur.
Alisha was a very vibrant, sparkly, yet stubborn individual. She always made certain her hair and nails were in perfect condition. Alisha was a very fun loving and sassy lady who would do everything within her power to help anyone in need. She was very enthusiastic when it came to Christmas. She loved decorating anything and everything she could during the Christmas season. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as their “Yaya.” In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts and decorating her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Whitney Seeley & husband Skip of Sulphur; son Tanner Hunt & wife Jordan of Sulphur; husband, Randall Kirby, of Sulphur; stepdaughter, Chris Moss & husband Casey of Cole, OK; stepson, Casey Kirby of Sulphur; and six grandchildren, Jagger Seeley, Teegan Hunt, Tanden Hunt, Maggee Hunt, Grayson Moss, and Tucker Moss.
Services are “Entrusted To” HALE’S Funeral Home of Sulphur, OK.
