Alice Lorine Peck was born August 3, 1944, in Morganfield, KT, to the late Stanley & Cordelia (Parris) McCormack. She died Thursday, December 9, 2021, in Sulphur, OK, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 6 days. Alice and Dan Peck were married in the summer of 1981, in Hawthorne, CA. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2003.
Alice grew up in the Hiawatha, UT area. After high school, she attended San Francisco University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource. In 1976, she enlisted in United States Navy Reserves, serving as a Chief Petty Officer, at the time of her honorable discharge in 1980.
Alice later attended the Gemologist Institute of America and spent several years owning and operating Peck Technologies, where she made jewelry. Alice had served as the past president of the Women’s Republican Party of Orangeburg, S.C.
For the past few years, due to failing health, Alice had made her home in Sulphur, with her daughter. She was a member of the Compassion Church in Sulphur.
Survivors include her four daughters, Tammy Grafton & husband Geoff of Sulphur, Dawn Patton of Iowa, Dan Thomas & husband Roy of South Carolina, and Lorraine Parga of California; son, Lance Peck of Georgia; three grandchildren, Eric Grafton & wife Ashley of Missouri, Alicia Whitmire & husband Aaron of Sulphur, and Taylor Maaliki of Iowa; five great-grandsons, Reese Grafton, Thomas Grafton, Theo Grafton, Michael Whitmire, and Jacob Whitmire; as well as her two sisters, Margie Gard of California, and Nadine Potter of Tennessee.
Services were entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home, of Sulphur.
