Alice Darlene Seebeck

April 6, 1953 — September 10, 2020

Funeral services for Alice Darlene (Bohanon) Seebeck will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at the First Assembly of God Church in Davis, with Brother Larry Newton officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00PM that afternoon at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City.

Darlene was born on April 6, 1953 to Robert & Myrtle Bohanon. She passed away September 10, 2020, from Stage 4 Lung Cancer, at the age of 67.

Darlene loved the outdoors, dancing, and a good bargain! She loved penny shopping, flea markets, & garage sales. She donated so much to those in need. She never turned anyone away. If someone was hungry, she fed them. If someone needed clothes, shoes, kitchenware, furniture, or anything, she provided it for them. She also took in many stray dogs & cats through the years and cared for them.

She raised two children on her own. She gave them everything they needed, most of what they wanted, and a tremendous amount of love. She completed her college degree while having a full time job and raising her children. She would read stories from her college books to her children at bedtime, instilling in them a love of learning and reading.

If you were her friend, she was your friend for life. She had so many best friends, most were family to her. Her childhood friends Nancy McIntyre, Patty & Dale Stevens, and Joyce Bohanon have all remained close to her and visited her frequently the last two weeks of her life. She & Patty were like sisters to each other. Her niece Darlene Bohanon was a best friend as well. She also visited her in the hospital before her death. Another lifelong friend, and father of her children, Darrell Roberts, was able to FaceTime with her before she passed.

She is now with her mother, Myrtle, her brother George, her son RayJo, her close friend Della, and many other friends & family in Heaven.

Loved ones left behind include her husband, Melvin Lynn Seebeck, her son & daughter, David Huff & Katherine “Christy” Austin, as well as her daughter-in-law Erica Huff & son-in-law Tommy D. Austin. Also, her grandchildren, Christine Zobel, Michael Austin, Ren Irie, Sarah Burton & husband Tyler, Tommy R. Austin, Nickolas Austin, Stephen Austin, Blake Austin, Preston Austin, Dustin Huff and Courtney Huff. Finally, her great-grandchildren, Katherine Zobel, Andrea Zobel, Emma Burton & Zoya Huff.
