Alexander Lewis




Alexander was born September 8, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Winfred & Elsie Mae (Williamson) Lewis. He died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Tishomingo, at the age of 71 years, 6 months & 14 days.

Alexander grew up in Sulphur where he attended school and later served in the United States Army. He attended college and welding trade school prior to his retirement in 2000. Alexander enjoyed spending time drawing and reading.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynde Lewis of Davis and Angie Morris of Ada; three sons, Alex Lewis of Norman, Ben Lewis of Sulphur and Scott Lawrence & wife Trista of Sulphur; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Regina Lopez of Sulphur and Zelma Lanter of Davis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Alexander was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Vera Kemp, Louetta Faye Foreman and Rowena Huff and two brothers, Javine Lewis and Jerry Lewis.
