Michael Lynn "Mike" Bixler

Funeral services for Michael Lynn “Mike” Bixler will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Pastor Duwayne Colvin officiating.

Mike was born July 13, 1952, in Alva, OK, to the late Sherman & Verla Marie (Shafer) Bixler. He died on Monday, July 4, 2022, in Haskell, OK, just nine days shy of his 70th birthday.

Mike met his precious wife Karen and were married in 1970. To this marriage was born two daughters, Stephanie and Cristina. In 1975, the family moved to Allen, OK, where Mike held various maintenance positions with several companies in that area.

In 1992, Mike moved to Sulphur, OK. While working at Exsil, he met his beloved wife Cheryl, whom he married in 1995. This added one son and two additional daughters to the family.

Being in maintenance for so many years, Mike acquired skills that gave him the ability to fix just about anything he needed to.

Survivors include his two daughters, Stephanie Brand & husband Gary of Ft. Worth, TX, and Cristina Wier & husband Eddie of Haskell; one brother, Phillip Bixler of Woodward, OK; one sister, Marie Hunt of Enville, OK; stepson, Eric Parker & wife Sharla of Stratford, OK; two stepdaughters, Tanya Parker, and Christy Colungo & husband Michael, all of Ada; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Bixler, and grandson, James Sparks, Jr.
