Dwaine Alexander White

Dwaine Alexander White (September 23, 1938-February 24, 2019) went to his reward on Sunday, February 24, 2019. He currently resided in Davis, Oklahoma with his wife Willie Mae (Reed) Howard White, but he had lived for many years in Keller, Texas. He was an educator, an artist, a craftsman, a Bible scholar, and a nature lover. Dwaine taught building trades at Keller High School and worked for many years as a machine programmer for Bell Helicopter. Dwaine was a long-time member of the church of Christ.

Dwaine loved his large family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Alexander White and Armarilla Cordelia White; his brother, Philip Rex White. In 1959, he was married to Patricia Furr White who preceded him in death in 2007. He is survived by his children: Carla Hill (Rock Springs, Texas), Matt White married to Ann (Springtown, Texas), Margaret Payne married to Jeffrey (Henderson Tennessee); his grandchildren: Ryan Wiley, Alice Hill, Rebecka Hill, and William White. His great-grandchildren: Addison Hill, Evelyn Hill, and Tate Wiley. His stepdaughters: Janice Payne (Ardmore, Oklahoma), Phyllis Tidwell, married to Joe D. (Ardmore, Oklahoma), and Sandy Rinehart married to John (Tuttle, Oklahoma). His siblings: Gary White (Pooleville, Texas), John Lewis White married to Roberta (Albany, Oregon), David White married to Patricia (Godly, Texas), Earl White (Cottondale, Texas), and Helen Sherrill married to Dheryl (Mineral Wells, Texas). He also enjoyed a host of step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 5:00-7:00 at Hale’s Funeral Home, Davis, OK. Services will be held at the Wynnewood church of Christ, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2:00; and graveside services Thursday, Feb. 28, White’s Chapel Cemetery Southlake, TX.
